Mina ecosystem members were excited to join over 15,000 attendees at Consensus in Austin, Texas this year. During the week of Consensus (April 24-28), the Mina ecosystem participated in 4 events, including its first-ever ZK360 event, a deep dive into the world of zero knowledge.

Off the Chain Happy Hour
At the start of the week, Mina Protocol hosted its Off the Chain Happy Hour, where attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and networking! The event provided a fantastic opportunity for Consensus attendees to network and unwind while learning about Mina ecosystem developments, including zkIgnite and o1js (formerly SnarkyJS). The event welcomed over 160 attendees throughout the evening, and it provided a great platform for Mina community members to connect with potential investors, developers, and users of the Mina blockchain.
ZK 360: Exploring ZK Together
While zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) were widely discussed at Consensus, Mina Protocol went further by hosting a one-day event called “ZK 360”. The event attracted over 150 attendees and focused on sharing the latest advancements and learnings in zero-knowledge technology. Mina Foundation CEO Evan Shapiro delivered a 15-minute keynote on “Exploring the world of ZK” to kick off the event, which was followed by four panel discussions covering topics from “The Future of ZK” to “Blockchains at Scale” featuring speakers from Polygon, Starkware, Algorand, and others. Two fireside chats on “zk Programmability” and “How to Launch a Business in ZK” took place between panels, featuring speakers from Mina Foundation and O(1) Labs.

ZK in 2023: The Path Forward
Mina Protocol joined =nil; Foundation and YAP Global as co-hosts of ZK in 2023: The Path Forward. This Consensus side event featured a panel discussion and keynote presentations that focused on the future of zero-knowledge technology and how it will be integrated into daily life. The panel also featured speakers from Scroll and Aleo and attendees were able to enjoy a networking session following the panel discussions.

Web3 Deep Dive Podcast Launch Party
To close out the week, Mina Protocol sponsored the Web3 Deep Dive launch party in partnership with its host Rachel Wolfson. This new podcast goes in depth with industry experts on all the latest Web3 trends and developments. While at Consensus, Rachel interviewed Mina Foundation CEO Evan Shapiro for an episode about how ZKPs will help advance Web3.
